WATERVIEWS GIVEAWAY
CONTEST RULES, TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. CONTEST
This giveaway contest (the “Contest”) entry is coordinated by Waterviews.ca Vacations Inc. (the “Contest Coordinator”) and Sponsored by Expedia Cruises, the Contest Sponsor. The final entry for the contest ends on March 31st, 2025.
2. ELIGIBILITY
This Contest is open to individuals who meet the following criteria:
· Must have reached the legal age of majority in their state, province or territory of residence prior to the Giveaway Period.
· Must be a legal resident of countries accepted by the sponsor.
· Must comply with Waterviews and Expedia Cruises policies, as well Facebook, Linkedin, X and Instagram’s terms of use and community guidelines.

Directors, employees, representatives, or agents of the Contest Coordinator and its subsidiaries and affiliates, media partners, advertising and promotional agencies, and members of the immediate family (parents, children, siblings and spouse, regardless of where they are domiciled) of any of the aforementioned persons are not eligible to enter the Contest.

4. AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES
By participating in this giveaway, entrants agree to abide by these Rules and the decisions of the Contest Coordinator, which are final and binding.
5. HOW TO ENTER
No purchase is necessary.
To enter the Contest, an Eligible Participants must:
· Agree to sign up for the contest coordinator Waterviewstravel newsletter.
· Sign up for Expedia Cruises Newsletter and follow all the contest rules as defined by the Contest Sponsor, Expedia Cruises.
Although online access is required in order to enter the Contest, no purchase is necessary. Many public libraries, internet cafés, retail businesses and others offer free access to Internet.
6. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
To be considered an Eligible Entry, the participant must fill the form provided by Expedia Cruises and as defined below, all content associated with your entry (regardless of the method of entry) (the “Submission”) must: (i) be submitted and received in compliance with these Rules during the applicable Giveaway Period; (ii) include all required components and materials noted above (all as determined by the Contest Sponsor, Expedia Cruises in its sole and absolute discretion.
By participating in this Contest, including without limitation submitting an Eligible Entry, you signify that you have read and agree to be legally bound by these Rules.

7. WINNER SELECTION
The decision of the Contest Sponsor is final. Waterviewstravel will not be involved in decisions that govern the selection of the winner nor determining their eligibility to win the prize.
By entering the Contest, each Eligible Participant agrees that their Eligible Entry complies with the Rules, and that Contest Sponsor may choose to disqualify an Eligible Participant from the Contest if it believes, in its sole discretion, that the Eligible Entry fails to comply with the Rules, including the following conditions and restrictions:
· Posts, pictures and/or videos must not be illegal, defamatory, hateful or in any way obscene, or disparage the Contest Sponsor or any other person or party;
· The Submission must not contain material that is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to the laws or regulations of any jurisdiction where they are created, or that violates or infringes any third-party rights, including but not limited to copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or any other intellectual property rights; and
· The Submission must not be inconsistent with the image and values of Contest Sponsor or contrary to the purpose of the Contest.
· By entering, each Eligible Participant warrants and represents the following with respect to each Submission: (i) the Eligible Participant is the sole and exclusive owner of or has all necessary rights with respect to the use of any content forming part of the Submission; (ii) Creative Work must be an original creation of the Eligible Participant; (iii) the Submission will not infringe on any rights of any third parties; and (iv) any third parties (if any) appearing in the Submission have given appropriate consents and permissions for the use of the images. The Contest Sponsor reserves the right to request releases from any third parties appearing in any Submission at any time. Failure to produce third party releases upon Contest Sponsor’s request may result in disqualification, as determined by Contest Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion.
· By entering this Contest, Eligible Participants agree that the Contest Sponsor and its media partners, advertising and promotional agencies and each of the foregoing entities’ respective directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns do not make any representation or warranty, or assume any liability beyond, where applicable, what has been described as the prize in these Rules.
8. WINNER NOTIFICATION
The potential winner will be notified by the Contest Sponsor, Expedia Cruises.

PRIZE
A cruise vacation for 4 people. All terms and conditions related to this contest are governed by the Contest Sponsor, Expedia Cruises.
The prize winner agrees and acknowledges that Waterviewstravel will not be liable for any public statements made by the contest sponsor nor changes to the rules and policies that govern this contest.

SOCIAL MEDIA REQUIREMENT
As a courtesy, the winner agrees to mention Waterviewstravel and share a minimum of one post on their personal social media accounts (including but not limited to Instagram, facebook, X, etc) about the trip, featuring the Contest Coordinator’s services and using the designated hashtag(s) provided by the Contest Coordinator.

PUBLICITY
Except where prohibited, participation in the Contest constitutes the winner’s consent to use their name, likeness, and social media handles for promotional purposes without payment.
9. GENERAL CONDITIONS
a. The Contest Sponsor has indicated the terms and conditions on their entry form, which the participant shall fill and agree to.
b. The Contest Coordinator is not responsible for late, lost, damaged, incomplete, or misdirected entries.
10. PRIVACY
Information collected from entrants is subject to the Contest Coordinator’s Privacy Policy.
11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All intellectual property, including but not limited to trademarks, trade names, logos, designs, promotional materials, social media posts, web pages, is owned by Contest Sponsor. All rights are reserved. Unauthorized copying or use of any copyrighted material or intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.
12. DISCLAIMER
This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Facebook, Meta, or the operators of X or LinkedIn.
13. GOVERNING LAW
This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants and Contest Coordinator in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Province of Alberta.
By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Rules and the decisions of the Contest Sponsor.
