Tour Highlights

Maputo

Maputo is Mozambique’s vibrant coastal capital, blending Portuguese colonial architecture, lively markets, and a dynamic food scene with sweeping views over Maputo Bay.

Maputo National Park

Maputo National Park’s unique blend of bush and ocean landscapes offers a quieter, less crowded safari experience just south of the capital.

Machangulo

Machangulo, located on a secluded peninsula overlooking the Indian Ocean, is a serene beach escape known for its white-sand shores, turquoise waters, and vibrant marine life.

This bush and beach journey blends wildlife, coastal adventure and restorative downtime for a well-balanced safari experience. You travel south to Maputo National Park, a World Heritage Site, where several days of game drives, dune forest hikes, birdwatching and optional walking safaris offer close encounters with elephants, giraffe, buffalo, antelope and diverse birdlife in a coastal wilderness setting. Continue to Machangulo along the Indian Ocean, where white sand beaches and turquoise waters provide a relaxed contrast to the bush. Explore the nearby Inhaca Islands and enjoy marine excursions, kayaking, paddleboarding and snorkeling. Conclude with a scenic boat transfer back to Maputo for departure.
